LONG BEACH COMIC CON and COMIC BOOK SUNDAY! PRESENT: MIGHT & FRIGHT SHORT FILM FESTIVAL AT THE LONG BEACH CONVENTION CENTER

A Full Day of Films for Comic Book & Film Lovers
(Long Beach, CA, January 26, 2011) MAD Event Management, Long Beach Comic Con, and Comic Book Sunday! are proud to announce Might & Fright Short Film Festival 2011 to be held Saturday & Sunday, October 29-30, 2011 at the Long Beach Convention Center (LBCC) in downtown Long Beach.
This announcement comes on the heels of the second year’s show at the Long Beach Convention Center. It will be added to the slate of ever-growing events built into the third year’s show in 2011. This won’t just be another Short Film Festival since we will focus on showcasing the best films out there with a comic book or horror feel to it. We want to find the best short films from across the country that concentrate on genre material and give them a home to be screened in front of an audience that will appreciate the work.
“This is a great opportunity for us to not only work with a great group such as Comic Book Sunday!, but also give the fans something more to experience at the show, and let them become more of a part of show,” said event planner Martha Donato, President of MAD Event Management. “There are so many creative people out there that want to show off their talents, and this will be the perfect venue for them to do just that.”
